JPulia, as they’ve affectionately named by friends, got married!!!

These two are a team, and teamwork is evident in their renovation projects, and certainly in the details of their wedding! Every detail for this lovely brunch wedding was thought of, and often it was JP executing, with extreme precision, Julia’s vision. JP even lazer cut ALL of the place cards, as well as the cover for their guest book!

The details were stunning, beginning with the vintage postcard invitations, the doilies repurposed as bunting, amazing florals, china tea cups holding the tea bag that corresponds to your table, and the list goes on…

We’re so happy to have been able to celebrate your day with you! Have a wonderful life together!

I was seated at a table at one of their friend’s weddings a few years back when I first met Geoff and Tesia and let me tell you, from my first conversation with them and that completely unique look that makes Tesia truly a one of a kind, I just knew that one day I might be lucky enough to shoot their wedding…and guess what? I DID!!! All they asked was that we frolic through a forest and have loads of time for photos of just the two of them and we did indeed. A most unique wedding with handmade touches strewn throughout, Geoff & Tesia’s ceremony at Leo Mol sculpture garden and reception at the Qualico Family Centre was just perfect! Their love of books was apparent from the centrepieces to the placeholders for everyone’s seating cards and there were even little plants emerging from books on the head table…brilliant! The first wedding of a Red Photo Co. triple header weekend with Rebecca in Clear Lake and I in Winnipeg and Ontario could not have gotten off to a better start than with Geoff & Tesia…

Tyler & Ashley’s day was filled with an absolutely delightful first look at the train station, some time spent in a dirty parking garage (they told us to take them anywhere necessary in order to get some amazing photos…and we did!), a few wedding party photos at The Roblin Centre at Red River Princess Street Campus and a short and sweet ceremony followed by a lovely reception at the Qualico Family Centre at Assiniboine Park. Their grey and yellow colour scheme even extended through to the groomsman’s socks! Now that takes some planning!

After the fantastically fun time that I had with Dennis & Andrea at their engagement session earlier this summer, I just knew that their wedding day was going to be fun from start and to finish and they definitely delivered! Rebecca and I had the same problem at the end of the day…our faces actually hurt from laughter, which is a very good sign! Their day was incredibly fun…they even trudged through the forest just because we asked them to (and the results were worth it, right guys?!). Andrea was a knock out in her dress from 7th Avenue and vivid bouquets by Timeless Florals. A gorgeous reception at the Qualico Family Centre at Assiniboine Park was gorgeously decorated by Moments and everyone danced the night away thanks to musical stylings of Serino Sound. Enjoy!

The girls were almost ready and drinking mimosas when I arrived…I count that as a very good omen for a wedding day! Oh, and the sky was blue and the wind calm which just make for the perfect conditions for a wedding. Hayley had the details organized meticulously and was gorgeous in her Madeline Gardner dress (from LA Collection), and Kris looked a little like James Bond with his classic bow tie. From the emotional first look at their home, to the picture perfect ceremony and sweet reception at Terrace 55, including a candy bar by Sweetness Buffet, the day was perfect!
A special thanks to Coralee for joining me on this shoot last minute, we do make a pretty great team!
