FUN! That one word sums up our day with Matthew & Chelsea. For this laughter filled afternoon wedding we took a little road trip out to Virden, MB. We love road trips. This one was no exception, as the venue that greeted us was the Oak Island Golf and Country Club, and the brand spankin’ new community centre in Virden. The golfers on the course were extremely patient with the big wedding party taking over hole 13 (because there was a tree that we just HAD to have in photos), and we had a blast zooming around on golf carts! The reception began with personalized dance introductions of the wedding party, and the dance theme continued later with a dance off between the ladies and the men of the wedding party! If laughter is the best medicine, these two will never be sick a day in their lives! Congratulations again, Matthew & Chelsea!

Matt & Chelsea currently reside in Calgary, but are getting married in Virden and used to live in Winnipeg…that’s a lot of travel! Luckily for Rebecca and I, we got to spend one of the rare days that they are here in the city with them and they trusted our artistic vision enough to make them drive around to a few different off the wall locations and in my humble opinion, we got some good stuff! Along the way, we were photographed (how odd to be photographed when you are photographing!) by Tim of the Canadian Mosaic Project, an inspiring look at Canadians from sea to sea..so our portraits will be a part of the mosaic…how fabulous is that? All in all, a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon that we weren’t at a wedding!
