The day began with a change of plans… a downpour happened at exactly the moment that Ian and Melissa were supposed to see each other for the first time. Not even a down pour could dampen the excitement between these two, and the Millennium Library provided a gorgeous alternative for the first look!

Thankfully the sun didn’t stay away too long, and soon we were outdoors and groomsmen were stepping in puddles and we were all warm and dry.

The Manitoba Club has opened a lovely garden over looking the old Upper Fort Garry, it’s beautiful and provided a fantastic spot for an intimate ceremony.

We love it when couples choose to do things a little differently. Ian and Melissa’s first dance was exactly what they wanted… FUN! These two choreographed a dance to clips from some of their current favourite songs, and it was so much fun to watch because you could see how much fun they were having together! This of course completely falls in line with our philosophy, and rule #1…. Always be yourself!

Thanks you two for having us there to capture your wedding day! We had fun with you, your friends and family and wish you so much more fun together!

Ok, so we have to admit something … we were completely smitten with Brytani’s tea length dress and red patent mary janes! We understand the importance of a lovely shoe, and have a soft spot in our hearts for all things red, so when we saw the shorter dress we just might have had hearts in our eyes!

The Manitoba Club was a lovely venue for this brunch wedding!

Every wedding has a sweet story, or two, and this one was no exception. Instead of tossing her bouquet to the single gals, Brytani had a few tear jerking words to say to her sweet grandmother! It’s so beautiful to see all the generations of family celebrating together, and when you are lucky enough to have your grandparents at your wedding make sure to hug them tight and make a point of taking a few photos with them!

Congratulations to you Michael & Brytani, and all our best wishes for your life together!

Super heros at a wedding?! Yes please!

Red Photo Co. was reunited and shooting together again for Brent & Jacquie’s lovely August wedding. It was a bit of a dream day for us, because we had oodles of time, and a very game wedding party!

Jacquie’s stunning look came together thanks to Two Chicks and a Bag of Makeup, 7th Avenue Fashions, and Broadway Florists, who provided the summery yellow bouquets.

Our photo fun began out at the St. Norbert Farmers Market, for a little walk about the market!

The Manitoba Club was a superb backdrop for the nuptials, and looked fantastic for the party that followed, thanks to Dream Day Decorators.

Thanks to the wedding party for lots of jokes and laughter, we love to see friends celebrating together with as much fun and exuberance as you!
