The Nordale Parents Advisory Group approached us wondering “would photos be a good fundraiser”?

Of course we said YES!

So THIS SATURDAY, September 26th, Coralee & Beck will be shooting mini-sessions to help raise funds for a new nature playground for the Nordale School and the community of Norwood Flats!

What is a mini-session? It’s a short and sweet version of the regular un-portrait session that you can book with Red Photo Co. These will be 15 minutes and will be outdoors (weather permitting) at the Nordale School! Bring your dog or cat, or grandma and grandpa, bring your new bike or that stuffy that you can’t live without. And don’t forget to bring BIG SMILES! This a great way to support a good cause AND get a beautiful photo of your family! If holiday cards are what you’re after, we design those too!

We are looking forward to meeting lots of families from the community and seeing all the smiles!

All the info is here on this poster:

It feels like I (Coralee) have known Richard & Liana forever so it only seems fitting that I’ve seen some of their biggest life’s moments; getting engaged, getting married and now, having not only one but TWO gorgeous baby girls to spoil! Rebecca and I were super excited to hear of the birth of their little darlings and were incredibly happy to share in these precious moments, that seem to pass so quickly. Little E & K, we hope that we are lucky enough to share in a lot more moments with you as you grow up to be delightful little people! Two may be twice as much work, but twice as much fun as well!

Weddings are traditionally a celebration of love…and what better way to celebrate an upcoming wedding than with those that you love the most! This engagement session was filled with dandelion picking, giggling, eating ice cream and a good old game of scrabble. Throw in some curiosity about geese, a swing on a ufo-shaped disc and some kissing amongst the lilac bushes and it was one fun filled afternoon indeed…

This is one heck of a great family. If I needed to pick one word to encapsulate the Falks it would be PERSONALITY! Every single time they get in front of the camera, it’s magic! The smiles, the energy, the gusto with which they all take on life… it’s absolutely infectious!

Charlie the service dog is the sweetest, most attentive, well behaved dog we’ve met. I think he was the least phased by having his photo taken, he was certainly the least camera aware!

It is certain, when you are in a room with this family you are in the presence of a bunch of people who love each other and also really like each other!

We had the best time, and we’ll gladly photograph you all again anytime you’d like!

This little guy is no doubt not so little anymore!

Back in October 2014 we were lucky enough to get the call to photograph a gorgeous baby boy for a great couple! Curtis & Krista had given me (Rebecca) the honour of capturing their wedding day a few years ago, and now as their family expanded we were invited into their home for another big deal, to meet the newest member, Parker! It’s pretty obvious that everyone is smitten with the super cute new addition!

Molly the excitable pup (well, she still acts like a pup, so I’ll call her a pup), was there too, giving kisses and getting in the way of course!

It is always amazing to us to be given the task of documenting a family as it grows. Whether this be a couple journeying life as a twosome, the addition of dogs, cats, birds and of course children, the happy moments or the sad moments, we love helping you document your family history. These are your memories, your moments. Thank you for trusting us with them.

These two are getting married in 11 days!!!

Obviously, it’s high time that these images see the light of your backlit computer screens!

We had a really nice fall here in Winnipeg. It didn’t get too cold, and we didn’t have snow early. Two things that in my books make it pretty much as perfect as any season that isn’t summer can get.

Back to Trevor & Connie… and Dobbie! We had a great time with these three. The two humans were a little bit hesitant to have their photo taken, but realized soon enough that we weren’t going to put any pressure on them to be anything other than themselves. Really folks, that’s all we want from you. We want you to be yourself whether that be polished or goofy, serious or smiley, sad or happy… we just want you to be YOU! If you know Red Photo Co. you know that we have only ONE RULE: Always be yourself…

Dobbie wanted to be in ALL the photos. So much so that when we tied him to a tree in the forest so we could have a little time to photograph just Trevor and Connie together he cried and barked and made absolutely sure that we knew that he was missing out!

We’re really excited to photograph your wedding soon, and wish you the best day ever!

It’s been a while since I, Coralee, photographed Kevin & Rebecca’s wedding and trying to connect to do a family session last year before the holidays was an impossible feat…but it was worth the wait to meet their adorable boy Jordan and spend a fun-filled morning with them wandering around the Forks! I was warned that Jordan may shy away from wanting to have his photo taken and they he has even told his Dad to “put away the camera!” but after a wee bit he was having a great time laughing at us making fun of ourselves and trying to amuse him. We included some outdoor time exploring and what kiddo doesn’t enjoy getting to choose their own candy at the end of an adventure? It may not be Octopus cake, but it’s something (inside joke…right Jordan?)!
