Jackie & Bev, what can we say?! You ladies have been so much fun to get to know. From the engagement session that featured 12 people, and 3 dogs, as well as roaming around in golf carts, to a beautiful, intimate ceremony at The Gates, we always end up with cheeks that hurt from smiling so much around these two and their friends and family.

Thanks for trusting the photos of your biggest day to Red Photo Co!

They are crazy about each other, which isn’t hard to notice. They played Nick Cave songs both ways down the aisle. They pretty much just let us choose the locations for their wedding photos according to what we thought would work best, and let us steal them for way more time than we should have after desert was served for even more photos. These aren’t all of the reasons that we could think of for why we love Adam & Alena, but it’s a few. Their day at The Gates went as smoothly as they dreamed and the rain didn’t visit up once that day, with the florals by Academy Florists adding the perfect pop of colour!

My first wedding of the year and I got to spend it with this amazing couple and their families…what more can I say? How lucky am I! All that Jolene asked was that we included a lot of color (cue the balloons) and that I can do! In fact, some would say that photographs including a big blue sky and loads of puffy white clouds (aka “Coralee clouds”) are even my specialty!
Once again, the staff, the service, the food and EVERYTHING was perfect at the Gates, just as expected. Melissa did an amazing job ensuring that it was everything that Jolene & Darren had imagined. Amazing floral arrangements by Evangeline’s Flower Hut added the perfect amount of colour and the ideal dress by Bliss Bridal Boutique made Jolene a knockout! See for yourself…

Exactly two weeks ago today (continuing on with the bad I spent part of the day with Glenn & Kerry at their very small and intimate wedding at The Gates. We couldn’t have had a lovelier day and I couldn’t have been blessed with a more casual laid back couple to start off a three wedding weekend! They were a pleasure to work with and I hope that their exotic honeymoon has been amazing!

Oh my, Saturday was a scorcher all right..and I’m not just talking about the weather, how hot are these two..seriously?! One very hot Saturday was spent with Dan & Courtney and their incredible wedding at the Gates (who once again outdid themselves) this past one of two last weekend (and I will get to Sunday tomorrow) and how fortunate to work with such amazing people (which is important when you work for almost 24 hours out of 48 hour period!)! So enough words…on to the over 20 photos which I just couldn’t help but share!
