Our Thanksgiving weekend got even sweeter as we joined Kevin & Ali on their wedding day!
We’ve never before met anyone who is afraid of ladybugs…so it was pretty funny (to us) that we ended up putting the wedding party into a densely populated ladybug zone for some of the afternoon photos! Everyone had a good attitude despite the ladybug infestation, and it certainly led to lots of genuine smiles and just a few looks of terror! After a morning that was dreary and rainy, the sun came out with uncanny timing, just as we were heading out to the forest. Couldn’t have planned it better if we’d tried!
We love that we have this opportunity to be right in the middle of all the action during the day, and that we get a unique opportunity to get to know couples and their families quite quickly because of the time spent together. The amazing stories we hear make us laugh, and even make us cry sometimes! During the speeches, Kevin’s parents played a recording of a four-year-old Kevin and his grandmother singing a song together and it was one of the sweetest moments we’ve ever witnessed!
Thanks you two for including us in your big day, we had a wonderful time with you and your friends and family!
